¿Qué es la tinta ferrogálica?
Es una tinta soluble en agua que contiene una combinación de tanino, un componente vegetal presente en las hojas de té, y hierro. Estos materiales se oxidan al exponerse al aire, lo que les confiere resistencia al agua y a la luz para una mayor durabilidad. El proceso de oxidación también provoca un cambio de color, que con el tiempo transforma gradualmente el color intenso de la tinta en un tono negruzco más intenso. [Precauciones al usar tinta ferrogálica]
Al igual que con la tinta para pluma estilográfica común, lave bien su pluma al cambiar de tinta.
Si quedan manchas en su pluma/convertidor, disuelva un poco de vinagre en un vaso de agua y sumerja la zona manchada en agua para lavarla.
Aunque no debería haber ningún problema si deja tinta ferrogálica en su pluma, le recomendamos limpiarla periódicamente. Si no la va a usar durante un período prolongado, le sugerimos que vacíe la tinta y la guarde limpia.

What is iron gall ink?

[Points of caution when using iron gall ink]
Similar to ordinary fountain pen ink, please wash your pen well when changing inks.
If stains remain in your pen/converter, dissolve some vineger in a glass of water and soak the stained area in the water to wash.
While there should be no problem with leaving iron gall ink in your pen, we recommend you clean your pen periodically. If you will not be using your pen for an extended period of time, we suggest you empty the ink from your pen and store it in a clean state.
